The Northern Ireland Executive’s Inter-Departmental Review of Housing Adaptations Services resulted in a number of service improvements. This work also led to the creation of an Adaptations Design Communications Toolkit. The Department for Communities and Department of Health carried out a review of Housing Adaptations Services in 2016. On behalf of these Departments learn this here now, we asked disabled people occupational therapists, housing designers, the NI Federation of Housing Associations and other key partner groups what they thought of the review. The Toolkit reflects this feedback, and incorporates best practice guidance for housing adaptations design.
